Holland Park in Surrey
Located in the heart of the Surrey city centre, Holland Park is a 10 hectare (25 acre) green space that features a water fountain, open lawns, gardens, and a playground. In addition to its beautiful surroundings, the park also plays host to numerous festivals and large community events.
Holland Park is the site of the annual FVDED in the Park music festival. This is a two-day event that attracts thousands of music lovers to the park for a fun filled weekend. It is hosted at three different venues, including the PNE Amphitheatre, the Fortune Sound Club, and the Celebrities Nightclub. It features a stacked lineup of hip hop and EDM. The park is also home to the annual Fusion Festival. This is a celebration of Surrey's diversity, with a range of local and national cultural performances. Some of the upcoming events include a candlelight vigil to honor the 14 women murdered at the Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal, Canada, on December 6th, 2018.
